Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program 2025

(Undergraduate program)



I. Brief Introduction:

Bilateral Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or consensus between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities or international organizations.


The Bilateral Program supports undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars and senior scholars. Please consult the dispatching authorities of your home country for the categories available. Zhejiang University accepts applicants sponsored by this scholarship, including undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars (including students for one semester or one academic year’s Chinese language programs)and senior scholars.

This scholarship is Type A in the CSC system.

Only Chinese-taught undergraduate program is available for CSC type A.


II.Eligibility:

To be eligible, an applicant must:

1. be a citizen of a country other than the PRC and in good health both mentally and physically;

2. be an academically excellent holder of high school diploma or its equivalent, under the age of 25 when applying for an undergraduate program;

3. have passed the HSK (Level 3) or above level.


III. How to Apply:

1.Where to Apply

Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country. Choose Zhejiang University as your target university. Please note that Zhejiang University does NOT directly accept the application.

2.When to Apply

In general, from January to the beginning of April each year. Please consult the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline of each year.
