Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program 2026

（Undergraduate program）

I. Brief Introduction:

Bilateral Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or consensus between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities or international organizations.

The Bilateral Program supports undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars and senior scholars. Please consult the dispatching authorities of your home country for the categories available. Zhejiang University accepts applicants sponsored by this scholarship, including undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars (including students for one semester or one academic year’s Chinese language programs)and senior scholars.

This scholarship is Type A in the CSC system, and only Type A of the CSC scholarship supports undergraduate programs .

II. How to Apply for the Scholarship:

1.Where to Apply

Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country (Chinese Embassies abroad, etc.) . Choose Zhejiang University as your target university. Please note that Zhejiang University does NOT directly accept the application.

2.When to Apply

In general, from January to the beginning of April each year. Please consult the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline of each year.

3. For more detailed information about the scholarship, please visit the website of CSC Scholarship (Link).

4. Admission documents will be sent to the applicant by the the dispatching authorities directly.

III. How to Apply for a Pre-admission Notice for CSC Bilateral Program :

1. When to Apply

From December 1，2025 to February 28, 2026. (All dates and times listed are Beijing time. All deadlines include the day itself.)

2. Eligibility

Meet the eligibility criteria for Zhejiang University Undergraduate application. Please refer to the Application Guide for Undergraduate Programs (link).

3. Procedures

Applicants should clearly fill in the application information, completely upload the required application materials, and submit the application in the Zhejiang University International Student Application System in accordance with the requirements stated in the Application Guide for Undergraduate Programs of Zhejiang University 2026 (CSC Type A applicants are not required to pay the application fee). The application number from our university's application system should then be sent to admission2@zju.edu.cn.
