If you imagine the state of your life as a tree with trunk, branches, leaves and fruits, what is the real tree of life in your mind? On the afternoon of March 20, some international students with Chinese students together use colorful crayons to depict their own unique tree of life, with seriously thinking about their own growth story.

The life tree activity is organized by Mental Health Education Institution of Zhejiang University (MHEI)and International College. It is a new exploration for international students�� mental health education. Lots of students, who are from Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries, are interested in the activity. Mr. Wang from MHEI leads the students to savor the real meaning of the life tree. He explains the artistic expression of experience of the narrative genres.

The great root is like your hometown, the vast land is the place where you work and study now, the bid trunk means your skills and advantages, and the different branches stand for your dreams and wishes. The important people and things are like the leaves, with your love and gifts like the good fruits. After deep analysis and understanding, the students all have their own story to create moving life trees.

In the sharing session, the students talk about what they want to do during the study period. No matter confusion or bewilderment, dream or hope, everyone find his own shining point and also find a lot of resource nearby. All of the resources could be sought positively for dreams, which the life tree activity bring to us.

A series group counseling activities will be carried out among international students in the future, aims to enrich students�� campus life and have a wonderful university growth, with a positive view of life and study.
