Lantern Festival is one of the most influential traditional festivals in China. It falls on the 15th of the first lunar month, marking the end of Chinese New Year celebrations with a display of colorful lanterns and eating of Yuan Xiao.

      Zhejiang Foreign Language Bookstore will hold an event entitled “Hand-in-Hand” on the very day of Lantern Festival (Feb. 17th, Thu.) to celebrate the festival. They would like to invite international students on our campus to join the event and celebrate the festival together with Chinese friends.

     Activities will include guessing Lantern riddles (some will be in English) and Foreign Language Corner.

     Small gifts are prepared for people who solve the Lantern riddles and all the international students.

                   (Close to the intersection of Feng’qi Road and Yan’an Road)

      Please gather up in the Lobby of the International College Building on Yuquan Campus at 12:30 pm, Feb. 17th, 2011 to leave for the activity together.
