Important Notice for New International Students who are Currently inside mainland China

Dear New Students (now inside mainland China),

 

Please pay close attention to the following important notice about the registration for the new semester:

 

I. Registration Dates & Location:
New international students who are currently inside mainland China should come to the campus for registration.
Dates: September 7th and 8th 2020
Location: International College Building, West Zone, Zi-jin-gang Campus, Hangzhou
* If the above-mentioned information should be changed due to the COVID-19 situation, new notice will be given to you.
** For some special programs, registration may be otherwise specified. Please pay attention to further notice.  
 
II. Admission Documents:
In principle, the hard copy of your admission documents will not be delivered to you. You could obtain and use the documents upon registration and use them here in Hangzhou to apply for proper visa/residence permit.
 
For special cases, please contact us at the emails for accepting the applications.
 
III. Tuition Fees:

For self-supporting students and partial scholarship awardess (degree programs), you should pay the tuition fee for the first academic year before August 31st 2020. You may either directly make the payment or upload your bank receipt in the online application system.

 

IIII. On-campus Accommodation:
The International Student Service Center of our college will arrange accommodation for you after your arriving at the campus and registration.
 
V. DingTalk Account 
A DingTalk account (followed by a specialized ZJU DingTalk account after going through certain procedures) will be necessary and very important for new students to enter the campus and attend some of the educational activities.
Thus for new international students who are now inside mainland China, you should also immediately provide the university with information about your DingTalk account, and more importantly, the mobile phone number bound with your DingTalk account.
 
VI. Before entering the campus, you should first meet the following health requirements:
1. Holding Green Code of Zhejiang Province Health Code;
2. In good health without any of the following symptoms, including fever, cough,fatigue,sore throat.diarrhea and so on, within 14 days prior to your Registration Day;
3. No contact with confirmed/suspected cases or asymptomatic infection case within 14 days prior to your Registration Day;
4. No contact with people returning from outside mainland China within 14 days prior to your Registration Day;
5. People who are now living together with you shall also meet the above-mentioned requirements;

6.Students coming to school from high-risk areas in mainland China need to provide a negative report of NAT (nucleic acid test) within 7 days prior to the day of your arrival at campus. Afterwards, you will be put to medical quarantine and observation by the university for another 7 days and take another NAT. You can then apply for the blue code to enter or leave the campus if the test result is negative.

7.Students coming to the university from a medium-risk area in mainland China must provide a negative NATreport within 7 days before applying for the Blue Code to enter or leave the campus.

 

Questions related to the above requirements, such as how to apply for such a Blue Code through your DingTalk account etc., more information will be given to you in the upcoming notices.

 

In the next couple of weeks, new notices and instructions will be continuously issued to you all, so please follow us closely on the colleges�� web site, online system and Wechat public account.
