Welcome to Zhejiang University! Please find the information of registration (for Non-degree Chinese Language and Culture Program) as follows:
I Online Registration
First of all, all the new student should log in to your personal account in the International Student Application System of Zhejiang University (http://isinfosys.zju.edu.cn/recruit/login.shtml), and fill in the modules of ‘Freshmen Registration’ before September 3rd. Your student ID number could be found on the left top of the home page starting with Y24099XXXX.
II Accommodation Reservation
Students for Chinese Language and Culture Program will be studying and livingon Yuquan campus, Zhejiang University. III Onsite Registration
Dates & Time for Onsite registration: 9:00-16:00, September 3rd and September 4th 2024 (Tuesday and Wednesday)
Location of Onsite Registration:Lobby, the 1st floor of the Chu Kochen Hall on Yuquan campus, No.38, Zheda Road,Hangzhou.(You are strongly advised to enter from the North Gate on Xixi Road, which would be much closer to the building). Students could enter the campus by showing your Admission Notice at first week during registration.
Materials required for Onsite Registration:
1.One photocopy of your Admission Notice
2.One photocopy of the first page of your passport
3.One photocopy of the visa page
Notice:
All the new students are required to complete the "online registration" before the onsite registration. If you fail to reach and register on campuson September 3rd and 4th, please go to Office 205, 2F, Chu Kochen Hall to complete the registration procedures before the deadline of September 18th. Failure to registrationbefore the deadline date will be regarded as automatic abandonment of enrolment qualification.
IV Purchase Insurance
International students MUST have medical insurance when studying in China.Please purchase the medical insurance before entering China.

(For insurance products, please first choose ‘800 yuan plan for international students’ and then choose ‘400 yuan for 6 months’ as your insurance plan and premium)
V Physical Check-up
Students for non-degree Chinese Language and Culture Program are not required to submit a medical examination report uponregistration. When applying for the residence permit at visa center,if you are required to submit a medical examination report, then you could take a physical check-up at Zhejiang International Travel Healthcare Center(ZITHC). Students could also obtain a bilingual physical examination report containing Chinese in their home country and have it verified by ZITHCafter arriving at school. Those who are ascertained upon examination as patients of any disease due to which no entry is allowed, as specified in China's laws, shall leave immediately for their home country.
VI To Apply for Residence Permit
Students holding X1 visas are required to apply for Residence Permit within one month after entering the country, thus all the students holding X1 visa are requested to go to 205 office of Chu Kochen Hall after September 9th to obtain ‘Application Form for Visa/Residence Permit’.
Your registration documents will first be reviewed to see if they are complete, valid,and meet the admission requirements. After passing the review, you will be provided with the appropriate visa/residence permit application documents.
Materials need for residence permit application:
1.Application Form for Visa/Residence Permit (provide by university)
2.Accommodation Registration (prepared by yourself. For students living on campus, please get it at the accommodation front desk; for studentsliving off campus, you could obtain it at the local police station)
3.Copy of Admission Notice (prepared by yourself)
4.Copy of JW202 or DQ Form (prepared by yourself)

Notice:
1.For Chinese language and Culture program students with X1 visa, you will obtain a residence permit with a validity period of 180 days.
2.Students with X2 visa doNOTneed to renew their visa duringvalidity period.
3.We will NOTprovide visa materials to students for application of residence permit before completion of registration.
VII To Apply for Physical Campus Card
After completing the on-site registration procedure, you can go to the Campus Card Centre (Yuquan Campus) to apply for a physical campus card, which is a proof of your student identity and can be used in the school cafeterias as well as some on-campus stores.A large number of students are expected on the days of registration, please stay patient and choose a suitable time to apply for the card.
