I Online Registration
First of all, all the new student should log in to International Student Service Platform (https://intlstudent.zju.edu.cn/isstu), and fill in the module of ‘Pre-Registration’.Your student ID number could be found on the left top of your Admission Notice starting with Y25029XXXX.
Procedures:
1. Please first click ‘ZJU Unified Identity Authentication’ to enter the system as Zhejiang University students. No need to enter your ID in this page.
2. Log in the ‘ZJU Unified Identity Authentication’ using
ID: Y25029XXXX
Password: zju2025+the last four digits of your passport.
3. Click on "Pre-Registration" to start your the onlineregistration for the new semester.
4. Please complete the following six-steps.
5. International students MUST have medical insurance when studying in China.Please purchase the medical insurance in STEP 3. If you have already purchased insurance in your home country, you could upload your insurance certificate instead of purchasing theinsurance.
II On-campus Accommodation Reservation
Students for Chinese Language and Culture Program will be studying and livingon Yuquan campus, Zhejiang University. III Onsite Registration
Dates & Time for Onsite registration: 9:00-16:00, February18th and February 19th 2025 (Tuesday and Wednesday).
Location of Onsite Registration:Lobby, the 1st floor of theChu Kochen Hall on Yuquan campus, No.38, Zheda Road,Hangzhou.(You are strongly advised to enter from the North Gate on Xixi Road, which would be much closer to the building). Students could enter the campus by showing your Admission Notice at first week during registration.
Materials required for Onsite Registration:
1. One photocopy of your Admission Notice
2. One photocopy of the first page of your passport
3. One photocopy of the visa page
Notice:
All the new students are required to complete the "online registration" before the onsite registration. If you fail to reach and register on campusonFebruary18th and 19th, please go to Office 205, 2F, Chu Kochen Hall to complete the registration procedures before the deadline of March 4th. Failure to registrationbefore the deadline date will be regarded as automatic abandonment of enrolment qualification.
IV Physical Check-up
Students for non-degree Chinese Language and Culture Program are not required to submit a medical examination report uponregistration. When applying for the residence permit at visa center,if you are required to submit a medical examination report, then you could take a physical check-up at Zhejiang International Travel Healthcare Center(ZITHC). Students could also obtain a bilingual physical examination report containing Chinese in their home country and have it verified by ZITHCafter arriving at school. Those who are ascertained upon examination as patients of any disease due to which no entry is allowed, as specified in China's laws, shall leave immediately for their home country.
V To Apply for Residence Permit
Students holding X1 visas are required to apply for Residence Permit within one month after entering the country. Students could collect the 'Application Form for Visa' on the registration date of 18th and 19th. Your registration documents will first be reviewed to see if they are complete, valid,and meet the admission requirements. After passing the review, you will be provided with the appropriate visa/residence permit application documents. Students who are unable to collect the paper on the registration date, could go to the 205 office of Zhu Kezhen International Education Building to obtain it later.
Materials need for residence permit application when go to the Hangzhou Exit Entry Administration Bureau :
Application Form for Visa/Residence Permit (provide by university)
Accommodation Registration (prepared by yourself. For students living on campus, please get it at the accommodation front desk; for studentsliving off campus, you could obtain it at the local police station)
Copy of Admission Notice (prepared by yourself)
Copy of JW202 or DQ Form (prepared by yourself)

Notice:
For Chinese language and Culture program students with X1 visa, you will obtain a residence permit with a validity period of 180 days.
Students with X2 visa doNOTneed to renew their visa duringvalidity period.
We will NOTprovide visa materials to students for application of residence permit before completion of registration.
VI To Apply for Physical Campus Card
Teachers from the campus card center will help students to apply for physical campus cards at the registration lobby on 18th and 19th. Students who are unable to do it on the registration day, could go to the Campus Card Centre (Yuquan Campus) to apply it by yourself later. The physical campus card is a proof of your student identity and can be used in the school cafeterias as well as some on-campus stores.

VII To apply for Chinese SIM card for your mobile phone
The telephone operator company will help students to apply for SIM cards at the registration lobby on 18th and 19th.
VIII To apply for Campus Wi-Fi Account
Location of application: 7th Floor of Library, Yuquan Campus.
A large number of students are expected on the days of registration, please stay patient and choose a suitable time to apply for the campus wi-fi account.
