To deepen the university-enterprise collaborative education mechanism, encourage international students at Zhejiang University to pursue excellence in academic development and practical innovation, and build a communication bridge between international talents and outstanding Chinese enterprises, supporting the growth of international graduates with both a global perspective and a sense of social responsibility， the selection process for the KUKA Home International Student Scholarship for the Class of 2026 is hereby launched in cooperation with KUKA Home. The relevant matters are notified as follows:

I.Award Recipients and Scholarship Amounts

1.This scholarship is intended to reward outstanding full-time international undergraduate and master’s students at Zhejiang University who are expected to graduate in 2026. The update of student status information must be completed before May 31, 2026.

2.A total of 6 students will be awarded, with the following quotas and scholarship amounts:

First Prize: 1 student, RMB 15,000

Second Prize: 2 students, RMB 8,000 each

Third Prize: 3 students, RMB 5,000 each

II.Selection Criteria

1.Abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as university rules and disciplines, with no record of illegal behavior or disciplinary violations;

2.Possess solid academic knowledge, strong practical abilities, innovative spirit, and competitive awareness. Applicants with excellent Chinese language proficiency will be given priority consideration;

3.Demonstrate good moral character, civility, and willingness to help others; actively participate in cultural and sports activities, social practice, and volunteer services. Applicants with experience serving as key members or leaders of student organizations or associations will be given priority consideration;

4.Have an understanding of KUKA Home and identify with its corporate culture and values;

5.Open to all eligible international students. (Among them, students from Vietnam, Mexico, the United States, Thailand, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan will be given priority consideration);

6.Relevant selection details shall refer to the “Implementation Rules for the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students at Zhejiang University (Trial).”

III.Application Materials

1.Eligible students shall submit a written application and complete the Application Form for the KUKA Home International Student Scholarship for the Class of 2026 (Attachment 1);

2.Supporting materials for scientific research achievements, awards in cultural and sports activities, social practice activities, etc. (if applicable, please complete Attachments 2 and 3 accordingly);

3.Other supporting documents (if applicable);

4.A personal statement of no fewer than 300 words, in either Chinese or English, focusing on the applicant’s experiences, reflections, and feelings during study and life in China;

5.Please compress all electronic application materials into a single ZIP/RAR file and send it to the designated email address before the application deadline. The email subject line and file name should follow the format: “KUKA Scholarship Application + Student ID”. At the same time, students at the campus in Hangzhou should submit their paper application materials to Window No. 1 of the "One-stop" student Service Station on the 3rd floor of the International College. Students outside campus or educational institutions in Hangzhou should submit their paper application materials to the corresponding contact person.
