The theme that ��The 11th is the New 1st�� embraces a brand new beginning and fidelity to the original aspiration. On August 13, approximately 120 students from 40 UK universities participated in the 11th UK University Students Study China Programme at Zhejiang University.

HE Lianzhen, Vice President of Zhejiang University delivered opening remarks. She introduced to UK students the history and culture of Zhejiang University and shared her own experience in the UK. Her humorous speech resonated with all the participants and was greeted with rapturous applause.

Since 2008, our university has hosted 11 editions of the UK University Students Study China Programme. Many world-renowned UK universities, including Oxford, King��s College, University College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Manchester and the University of Leeds, participated in the programme. The year 2018 marks a new beginning of the next ��decade��. It is expected that higher-level and larger-scale cooperation between Chinese and UK students will be promoted.
