This year��s 2^nd International badminton competition was held at the sport center of Ocean College. There were almost 23 teams from 8 different nationalities participating in the event which had 5 divisions, Men Single, Female Single, Men��s' Doubles, Females' Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

In men single competition, there were 8 men; they played 4 separate games against each other. After a thrilling game, Junaid, Liao and Khan were in top 3 in an extremely tight game. They played very well and professionally.

In female single competition, there were 4 teams; they played 4 separate games against each other. After a competitive game, Fei, Elna and Feng were in top 3.

For the men��s doubles, there were 8 teams and 4 teams headed to the semi-final, at this point of the game there were elimination section where the standing two teams made it to the final round. With the strong motivated and energetic team, Khan and Junaid were the winter of this category.

For female��s doubles, there were 3 teams but unfortunately one team forfeited, hence the other two teams head to the finale.

In Mixed double competition, there were 8 and 4 teams headed to the semi-final, at this point of the game there were elimination section where the standing two teams made it to the final round. With the strong motivated and energetic team, Zhou and Feng were the winter of this category.

For the overall game, different participants as well as teams display an array of talent. Participants were able to work well with a team while others work better of as individual player. Thus far, Pakistani player such as Junaid, Khan, Farhan and Agha, Indonesian player such as Andrif, Farah and Ashar as well as Chinese player like Zhao, Liao, Li and Feng display an array of talent. Meanwhile other countries such as Cambodia (KY), Philippine (Robert & Elna), Guyana (Maria), Nigeria (Sam, Opi, Charles, Rasheed), and Bangladesh ( Mahadi) also try their best although they are mutual players.

Results

In conclusion the game started at 3pm and concluded at 7pm with great enthusiasm when the prizes were given to the winners in 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd position for each category. Nevertheless, on behalf of Executive committee for the international student, we would like to express our heartfelt thank you to the coordinators of this game (Junaid, Farhan, Khan, Maria) and the Photography team (Mahadi and Robert) and also all the participants (Chinese and international students) for making this event successful.
