On the19th of May, "The International Student Badminton Competition" hostedby International College, in cooperation with the Malaysia Student Association(MSAZU) and the International Student Union (ISU), was held in Feng-yuStadium of Zijingang Campus.There were16 teams consisting of 130 players from over nine countries.Students from China, Malaysia, Korea, Pakistan, Vietnam, India, Iraq, Hungaryand Russia took part in the competition, showing the diversity of thecampus culture.
The final result was related to the accumulation pointsof the matches (Men��s Singles, Women��s Singles, Men��s Doubles, Women��sDoubles, and Mixed Doubles). Hence, the players had been trying their best togain the glory.The schedule of the competition was according to the followingorder: group match, quarter-final, semifinal, and final. Fair play and finesportsmanship were shown by all of the players in the games.Eventually, the results were announced around 9pm.
The competition recruited 24 volunteers from different countries to serve as refereesand linesmen. All of them were performing well on their duties during thecompetition. The International StudentBadminton Tournament ended successfully in a harmonious atmosphere. After theaward ceremony, all the staff took a group photo to draw a perfect ending forthe event.
