A. Reservation Eligibility
1. According to the university arrangement, only new international students (including self-paying and scholarship students) who gain admission to Yuquan Campus, Zijingang Campus or Huajiachi Campus could get access to on-line
accommodation reservation.
2. Students, who gain admission to other campus, please go to the reception desk of the dormitory building on that campus and check in directly when the new semester begins.
B. Period of Reservation
9:00 am, February 12th to 17:00 pm, February 18th (Beijing Time, GMT+8)
C. Login Instructions
1. Website: http://dorm.zju.edu.cn
2. User name: Application No. / Student ID No. (on the Admission Notice); if you do NOT have Application No., please visit the above website and query your username with your passport number.
3. Password: The last six digits or letters of your passport number (e.g. if your passport number is A123456K, and then your password is 23456K). If you do NOT have passport, then your password is 111111.
4. Please refer to the attachment below for the detailed reservation procedures.
5. For Chinese language students, on-Line accommodation reservation is only open to students who have chosen on campus accommodation on the application form.
6. Self-paying Chinese language students are required to reserve their accommodation online on the basis of first registration first reservation. Student ID No.: Y200292001-Y200292100 can reserve accommodation online at 9:00 am on
February 12th, 2020, Student ID No.: Y200292101- Y200292200 can reserve accommodation online at 9:30 am on February 12th, 2020, and Student ID No. after Y200292201 can reserve accommodation online at 10:00 am on February 12th,
2020.
D. Payment Instructions
1. You are required to pay the full amount of the accommodation fee and the deposit (scholarship students only need to pay the deposit and no accommodation fee will be charged) when you reserve dormitory of Zijingang, Huajiachi campus or Chu Kochen Hall of International Education, Old International Students Dormitory in Yuquan Campus. The reservation shall NOT be valid unless the fee is paid fully and successfully.
2. Students who reserve Dormitory No. 16, 23 or 24 of Yuquan Campus will pay the deposit when they check in. Any excess payment shall be refunded and deficiency shall be repaid in accordance with the actual room condition.
3. Only online payment is supported. You are required to bear AliPay account or bank card with logo such like UnionPay, Visa, Master or JCB. You should also ensure the function of online payment of your bank card works and your card has sufficient balance.
4. Some extra commission fee will be charged by the bank if you pay by the international credit card (Visa��Master or JCB). No extra commission fee will be charged by Alipay or UnionPay card.
5. The online payment should be completed within 48 hours after confirming the reservation, or the system will cancel your reservation automatically.
6. You are recommended to use FireFox Explorer or Google Chrome to make reservation and pay the accommodation fee. You could refresh the webpage or change other web explorer in case of webpage errors.
7. After finishing the payment, please wait patiently until the success webpage pops up. You should click ��My Account�� to confirm the completed order with a successful payment.
E. Other Important Information
1. Because the number of dormitory rooms is limited, if you fail to make on-line accommodation reservation in time, we will not be able to guarantee on-campus accommodation.
2. You should be responsible for the housing by yourself if you arrive earlier than February 18th.
3. The University does not provide family accommodation.
4. You will be arranged into a similar room in case of the room you reserved with some special situations.
5. The student with successful reservation is not allowed to change to another room except for some special cases.
6. You could look up more information about on-campus accommodation in the help document on the reservation webpage. The participation of the reservation indicates you are fully aware of and accept all accommodation regulations and policies of ZJU and you are required to sign a housing contract with ZJU prior to the payment.
