December 2–3, 2025 – The Grand Final of the 3rd Peak Time International Competition (International Business Simulation Competition for International Students in China) was successfully held at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The competition attracted a total of 450 participants from 74 countries. After a highly competitive preliminary round, two teams from Zhejiang University advanced to the finals, with both teams—"Mingnian Sanwu" and "Neo Commerce"—winning the Second Prize.

Organized by the Shanghai International Education Association and co-hosted by the School of International Cultural Exchange at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the Peak Time Organizing Committee, the competition aims to enhance international students' strategic thinking, business decision-making, and teamwork through a simulated business management environment. Following the preliminary competition, Zhejiang University's two finalist teams stood out among 140 teams from universities across China, competing alongside international student teams from leading institutions including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

In addition to the two finalist teams, three other ZJU teams were also awarded Second Prize, while thirteen teams received Third Prize. These achievements highlight the outstanding analytical and decision-making abilities of international students, as well as their spirit of innovation and collaboration. They also reflect the University's continued success in cultivating globally competitive talent.

To help students prepare for the competition, the International College, together with the International Student Entrepreneurship and Employment Club (iSEE), organized a dedicated experience-sharing session before the event. Last year's Second Prize winners, Ding Yinghang and Gunnar, shared practical insights drawn from their own competition experience, covering topics ranging from effective teamwork to decision-making strategies at each stage of the simulation. They encouraged participants to approach complex business challenges with confidence and a positive mindset, while the Q&A session addressed common questions and practical challenges faced by competitors. The sharing session not only deepened participants' understanding of the competition but also promoted peer learning and cross-cultural exchange, inspiring more students to challenge themselves and strive for excellence in future competitions.
