“During these four days of exchanges and activities, I made many international friends. I never expected cross-cultural communication to be so natural and engaging,” said Zhou Xingxing, a master's student at Zhejiang University, after participating in the 2026 “Experience China” – The 3rd Yangtze River Delta Student Academic Symposium and Social Practice Program.

From May 24 to 27, the 2026 “Experience China” – The 3rd Yangtze River Delta Student Academic Symposium and Social Practice Program, organized by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and hosted by Zhejiang University (ZJU), was held in Zhejiang Province. More than 150 students and faculty representatives from 24 universities across the Yangtze River Delta gathered for the four-day event. Throughout the program, participants from 40 countries and regions, including China, Germany, and Russia, engaged in academic presentations, poster exhibitions, field visits, and digital technology experiences. Together, they explored academic innovation, promoted cultural exchange, and gained first-hand insights into China's development.
“Although we come from different countries and universities, these few days of shared experiences have become some of our warmest memories of China,” said Angelica Tiora (Chinese Name: Yu Minger), an Indonesian student at Zhejiang University.
The program may have come to an end, but the friendships and exchanges among young people from around the world continue.
